Not really....different is good...at least in the art community. IMHO I think too many artists conform to what people expect to see instead of being themselves and exploring what they they have a natural talent for. I spent years studying other people's artistic talent and copying it. Now, I take what I've learned and create my own style. I still like to experiment and tweak my techniques with every drawing. That's how I grow and develop my talents.
Keep using the talents you have and just enjoy being yourself :^)
